Do not buy this item.There is no manufacture date printed on it, thus if inspected by the coast guard could require you to install new ones because they can't verify the date.They're only good for 5 years, max

I was looking for a cheaper source for these for a while. They work as good as the expensive ones.(Yes, they were cheap enough I could try them out!)Hopefully I will never need to actually use them if I fall in the water!

The bobbin arrived in good condition. The salt was all intact and it was very easy to install. It was very fast shipping.

Shipping was much slower than expected. Price seems to much for what it is. My kids are avid fishermen. We go thru these. Anytime the life jackets get wet. Wish they were sold in multi packs to get the cost down.

We had no idea you could replace these that easily! But it was super easy! And they work great, yes we "wasted" one to try! Def will buy again when the time comes to replace the bobbin
