This cover fit over my cone intake snuggly. Although it does repel water, I would not drive through much more than a puddle. I would not risk hydro-locking the motor.

I would highly recommend this to anyone. I purchased this product for my 2003 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I had recently installed a cool air intake on my car and need something to protect the air filter from water as my car enjoys shooting water up into this compartment when I run over puddles.Pros:Very easy installationIve had it on for several months and it still working beautifullyLooks GreatFast ShippingCons:Only con is that it does not fit like a glove. However, This is my fault. My intake is simply bigger than this, and I knew this prior to purchasing.Overall great product. Highly recommended. Before installation I put several paper towels inside and ran under water for 5 minutes. Worked beautifully and paper towels were as dry as possible. Please be sure to measure your Air Filter 1st to ensure a proper fit.
