Works as designed, I would get it again if I needed another one.

The needle wouldn’t go past 40 psi. I thought there was a problem with my air compressor, so I put more air in. It still didn’t go past 40. After looking at it closer, I noticed the face place was bent. So I removed the glass and bent it back straight, then it worked right. Thankfully, my pvc pipes didn’t burst when I put way too much air pressure in them.
Hellbent.

Works well enough. Kind of expensive.

I as soon as i attached the the gauge to the camper i found a leak in water line, fixed the leak, pressured back up to 15 psi. It held for an hour. I think for the money they should have included a male adapter, since it comes with female threads, and the camper has female threads. Even though its 2021 and female on female is accepted, it doesn’t work. So after a trip to the hardware store to purchase a male water hose adapter, i was in business and the product worked great.

I had been using a simple gauge that connects to a Schrader tire valve, but I lost that gauge and replaced it with this setup. So much easier! Cut off the hot water heater (if needed), drain the water lines at the lowest point, hook up this test kit with your air compressor hose, drain again the system with air, then close your drain and test. I was running 60 PSI for at least 15 minutes.

Product is well assembled with good quality components. It’s very useful in identifying leaks in radiator water lines and other hard to access lines and hoses. It’s a great addition to my toolbox.

After looking around for a leak tester for new plumbing I found myself highly disappointed until I came across this All-Purpose Pressure Test Kit. It's obviously hand made from off-the-shelf quality components. There is is no way that you can purchase the individual components yourself at a price point that is competitive with this kit that is already assembled. This is one of the few times that I got a real deal and am quite happy. In my case I test through the shower water outlet which will get both hot and cold supplies. I picked up a male to male 1/2 NTP to a GHT adapter. Screwed on the tester and ran some air through the system. Easy as can be and worked like a charm.
