Used this on a ceiling drywall sander. Worked fantastic. This is the best sanding media I have ever used and I've done a lot of drywall work. Not sure how it works on wood or metal, but it should work very well. Highly recommend.

Mesh drywall sand paper is the only way to go, especially if you are power sanding. I purchased two grits, and both grits appear to be accurate and cut well. The 240 is a good finisher, and the pads last as long as other manufactures. It is hard for me to find the 9" profile size locally, so I always have to purchase online. I wish the price was a little better - putting them at a $1 per sheet is a little excessive. Overall, they do work well!

This sandpaper works well sanding thick drywall mud. This is a stiffer and less forgiving sandpaper. It is very east to dig too deep into the mud with this sandpaper and expose the tape. This sandpaper is better used for butt joints and areas that have thick mud that need to be leveled. I didn't find this sandpaper unmanageable but I did have to pay very close attention to where I was on the mud and the thickness that I was trying to achieve. I used this sandpaper on an electric drywall sander. that has an extension pole. I don't have a feel with this sandpaper as to the depth of the mud while I am sanding. I have to stop sanding and look to evaluate if more or less sanding is needed in specific areas. The ability of this specific sandpaper to reduce the dust while sanding keeps the job, and my lungs, cleaner. The discs strongly and evenly hold on to the sander head. No areas or edges of the sandpaper disc lift, bubble or curl.If you are working drywall mud and need abrasive hook and loop sandpaper discs I don't think you will be disappointed in the performance of these in areas that have thicker than usual mud.

Admittedly, I bought this to try and use on a floor. It didn't work well for that, but in it's defense, it wasn't supposed to. I then tried it on the drywall ceiling in my bathroom and it seemed to work well with just a little clogging. This may have been due to the latex paint, so again, no fault of the product. These can get expensive, so this is a really good value for the price, and it held firmly to my drywall sander.

Love how it breaks down to a small size for storage. It seems a little heavy for me.

These sanding pads work as expected. I'm redoing my bathroom and have used them to sand after skim coating and painting.

These sanding disc's work flawlessly with my electric wall sander, and helps to prepare the wall for paint. When I cleanup drywall mudding then I'll use an abraissve disc first 80 or 120, but then I'll use these 240 discs as the final pass to get everything butter-smooth.The discs work well, the velcro grabs onto the hook side of the sander and off-to-the-races we go. The discs seem to last a long time and I have only had to replace them because of the gross sticky stuff the was on the walls (rubbery sticky material) so I know the sanding discs will keep working for a long time.I think these are great for wall prep if you're about to paint, and they're great for knocking down wall imperfections (such as after mudding the drywall junctions). I like this set of discs.
