The Integral Solution makes the Protos Integral Forest unique. All components have been integrated within the helmet shell, so that it is no longer possible to get stuck on branches, bushes or other obstacles.
The Protos was developed specifically for the forest and is tailored to the most dangerous area of application. The 2-color design ensures increased visibility and the profound neck shell protects the back of the head in case of an impact or fall.
The ventilation gate not only offers a plus in wear comfort but also serves as an additional bumper in case of impact, before the forces act on the main shell.

Dislike ….not much the helmet is pricey but in my opinion well worth it .we have shown this helmet to so many people and all of them rave about one guy bought three for his crew

This is the best hard hat ever bar none. Made a cut it snapped back to only get hit into the side of my head also did a crane job two weeks after when a huge dead limb came out, it destroyed the helmet but I had no problems. It’s worth it.

After smashing my helmet to pieces when a branch hit it (when I wasn't wearing it, Thank God) I realized that I needed to step up my game or get maimed. I'm not a pro, just someone who cuts about 20-25 trees a year for firewood for two families. The Pfanner Protos arrived with hefty price tag, but the second I put it on, I felt 10 times more secure than with the smashed Husky I had on before. Both are plastic.The world of chainsaws and tree cutting is fraught with danger, and you CANNOT do enough or think enough about safety. So, make your choices well. If you cannot afford the Protos, then buy cheaper, but have some kind of protection. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR CUTTING PANTS!!!!!

in the air or on the ground this proto is more than 5 star.. it's full adjustable for all day comfort. front rear and side impact protection very light for having the visor and ear protection. the ear protection doesn't get snagged on anything cause they fold it to the hat. I love mine . the company started buying these for all employees .
