E Z Mount Western Mounting Stirrup The E Z Mount Patent Pending is a product that: 1) Increases rider safety when mounting. 2) Is strong and easy to use. 3) Folds up and stores in a handy riding pouch. 4) Works on all standard Western and English stirrups. With the increased popularity of larger horses, many riders struggle to mount from the ground or find themselves standing on top of an unstable object. The E-Z Mount solves these problems and is an essential new piece of tack. Please note Western EZ mount may not fit wider stirrups.

Unfortunately i found this to not be worth the money. I’m too short to mount my horse from the ground so i bought these in hopes that it would help. Sadly it didn’t . It had too much leeway so it would slip and turn itself around . And it falls off way to easy . Bummer

Too much trouble to get out use and put away. I put it in tack room with other non use items.

Didn’t work well at all. Too long and didn’t help at all. The picture looks different than what I received. It would be nice if you could adjust the straps to make it shorter.

I have had this since mother’s day weekend but just got around to trying it yesterday. It fit inside my stirrup nicely. It did not slip out as some mentioned. I did just extend my stirrups about two inches to relieve some tension on my left knee, and when I used the extender, it made the reach too long. When my stirrups were shorter, me being 5’4”, and 48 years old with rheumatoid arthritis, I had to really work to mount from the ground. After extending my stirrups I don’t feel as if I need the extender. My horse is 15.3h, and I definitely will keep this in my trailer tack room. I feel it is a good investment, and never know when it will be needed again!

For me, this product is long enough, light, sturdy and well built. After mounting, it comes off easily. It was packed and shipped quickly, as agreed.

When I found this, I was so relieved. I recently switched from riding western saddles all my life to a australian saddle... It had irons on it. There is one for Irons, but the irons on my aussie saddle are wider. To make sure you know what size your going to get with these, always measure! I'm certainly glad I did. I had the one for English irons (I guess they are more narrow) in my cart for a week until I realized that the one for irons wouldn't be big enough for the irons on my saddle. I always mount from the ground, but when I got the aussie saddle, I just couldn't mount from the ground with ease like I used to. Looking forward to putting these to use. Comes in a bag that doesn't take up too much room and snaps on to your saddle if you have enough d rings.

This is fantastic! You just have to know how to use it. Once the device is attached to your stirrup, step into it with your RIGHT foot. Stand upright. This will raise you up high enough that you can put your left foot into your actual saddle stirrup, at which time you can swing your right leg over your horse as usual. I have an injured left ankle, but don't want to quit riding while it heals. It could take months. I wear a good quality brace on the ankle, and am careful how I use the leg. I use a mounting block at the barn, but when I'm out at the trail I need something that will allow me to mount myTWH gelding without re-injuring the ankle. This EZ Mount is exactly what I needed, and for such a reasonable price. It has its own little carrying bag which can be hung on a saddle ring. I put it into a small cantle bag at the back of my saddle. The folding mounting stools you can buy are too bulky, not very substantial for those of us over 150lbs., and they are unstable on uneven terrain. The legs on them can sink into the ground, especially here in Florida where the trails are pretty sandy, so they can pitch sideways as you try to mount. The EZ mount is the perfect solution. I recommend this aid very highly. If you lead trail rides, or if you carry a first aid kit for trail rides, one of these would be a great item to carry in case one of the riders in your group ends up injured and needing a mounting aid. You can't always find a stump, or a fence, to step up onto to make mounting easier when out on a ride. I now think of this tool as essential equipment when our trail group goes out a couple times a week.
