(i.e. mounting it on the bottom of a terrarium and then setting the terrarium directly on any type of table or the floor/carpet). Always use the enclosed rubber feet to elevate your terrarium thus allowing the heat to escape. If unsure of bottom mounting, the side mounting of the iPower® Reptile Heat Pad is the preferred application.

It is a good size for my plastic tub where my Ball Python lives. I use it with a "BN-LINK Digital Heat Mat Thermostat Controller for Seed Germination, Reptiles...". I bought it as a replacement when my last setup was killed by a power surge and blackout.It has been working well for a month now.

Works well, but if You return it, You can only wait for Your refund and I received many damaged heating pads.I am still waiting for the refund.
