I bought this to wear while I'm working to stay warm without wearing bulky sleeves. I already have a battery that I use to charge my phone when I'm out so needing one for this wasn't a problem.Ive had it on for about an hour. It gets warm but not as warm as I would like and definitely doesn't cover enough area with heat. The elements can't possibly cover the area shown in the image.I have it on high. That'll definitely kill the battery quick. Maybe if it was tighter it would feel warmer. I ordered the size I usually wear (2xl) and its pretty loose. I might give it to my husband and get a smaller one to see if that helps.EDIT: its been less than three hours and it has totally drained my battery. I had to keep it on high to feel the heat in a 60ish degree room. The battery is hotter than the vest ....Returning.

Pros: lightweight, machine washable, usb power out so can be used with most battery packs.Cons: zipper on left side and for the majority of us right handed people, it is a nuisance. If the jacket is off for quite a while, you can’t turn it back on with power button, you have to unplug battery and plug back in. Considering I wear this under layers, that is also a pain in the butt. .

This item works very well. It’s keeps you warm holds in the heat and are very very comfortable. The price is perfect for the quality of item you are getting. The more you’re active the more your body generates heat and this item is perfect for holding in that natural body heat. Do not hesitate to get this item

I have one and love it. Bought one for my dad and it's horrible. the zipper broke, my poor dad (78yo) was stuck in it.And the power jumps to red no matter what you set it too.I bought it last year so it's too late to return.I'm going to buy another and cross my fingers.

I bought this because a friend something similar and swore by it. I'm getting older now and sitting in the cold for hours at a time is not as easy as it once was. My hope was that this vest would keep my core warm and in return, keep the rest of me warm. No really the case.First, I'll start with FIT: I put it on and it was indeed true to size. Perhaps a little on the smaller edge of 2XL but it fit. A good feature it has it the expandable sides. If you need a little extra room in the gut or if you're wearing heavy clothing underneath it would be handy.I put it on and realized the zipper is oriented like a woman's garment. Not a deal breaker. I've found clothes in eastern Europe made for men with the same issue. Awkward only because it's opposite of what I am used to. The vest was nice looking and had a quazi quality feel to it. Only time will tell on the quality.Warmth: after purchasing the recommended battery packs for the vest, I charged them and tried it out wearing a tee shirt and a lightweight sweatshirt under the vest. It took perhaps 10 minutes to feel substantial warmth on high. Again, not a deal breaker. If I want to be warm, I'll go sit next to a fire. What I was seeking was something to take the edge off. I believe it would do that for the right person. I'm sadly not the right person. I needed the heating to occur higher on the back, more shoulder blade high and less kidney high. The from of the vest never did get noticably warmer. Perhaps it was the layering. I'm not sure.All in all, it actually did all it said it would do. I can't speak to the controls as I put it on high andeft it there for over an hour. Which, btw, only used up about 15% of the power bank so that's a plus.Is it a keeper? Not for me. I need heat on my shoulders. Heat on my kidneys just reminds me that I drank more coffee than my Dr. said I should!To be honest, I think this would be a great product for someone who is at a ski lodge or in and out of the cold more frequently. Not enough for the long uses I intended for it.Thanks for reading

I’ve had this vest for over 2 years now and it’s still going strong. Okay, it’s not the most fashionable thing in the world, but it’s great as an undergarment and the heat means that I can work outdoors, even in relative cold temperatures, which is vital for my work. Despite only having 5 heat pads, each measuring 8x13cm, the heat feels evenly distributed.The vest is powered by a USB powerbank (not supplied), and I use a 25000mAh one, and on the highest heat setting, I get around 8 hours of continuous use. It has 3 heat settings which are controlled by a rubber button on the right hip, just below the pocket, where the USB powerbank is kept. The USB male is integrated into the vest, so simply plugs into the female USB port of the powerbank.Embarrassingly, I’ve never actually washed it since I bought it, despite knowing that it’s advertised as machine washable. I’m just not that confident that the USB connector would survive! As seen in the image, after two years, the only sign of wear is the braiding near the USB connector which is split, exposing the rubber-jacketed wire underneath. Nothing of concern as the wire remains sealed.I went for size XL, being 6’2” and 192kg, and it fits great as a second layer, or third if the lower two are thin. I couldn’t wear it as an outer jacket, but the advantage of the heating element is to be close to the body, so sizing for me is perfect.

Taille ne correspondant pas à la demande. Taille commandé 3XL, le gilet taillé beaucoup plus petit que ça alors que sur l’étiquette il y avait bien marqué 3XL. Dommage

Ce gilet remplit parfaitement sa fonction.Je fais les marchés 2 fois par semaine et depuis 5h du matin, il ne fait pas forcément chaud tout les matins.Personnellement, je l'utilise avec une batterie externe de 10000 mAh.J'ai d'autres batteries plus grosses mais avec celle de 10000 mAh, je m'en sert de 5h du matin jusqu'à 15-16h et elle tient largement. Avec une petite batterie de 10000 mAh, on tient facilement 10h et elle n'est pas vide)On peut le régler sur 3 positions, personnellement, j'utilise au début la position maximale mais au fil des heures la position 1 me suffit très largement.En bref, les points que j'ai retenus :- n'a pas besoin d'une grosse batterie pour fonctionner même longtemps- 3 positions de chauffe (donc réglable)- très confortableJe recommande donc cette veste.

I have purchased this for my son. He is 6ft 4" tall (all legs) and a 34" chest so I ordered the large size.It is rather a short and thin body warmer, but really, that's all you need with a shirt and hoody. All patches heat up nicely on the different settings. It does NOT come with a power pack so make sure you have one.
