This battery switch looks identical to a name-brand 600a battery switch that sells for twice as much. This switch is large. Check out the dimensions before ordering. The terminals are NOT 3/8" (M10) as stated. They're larger 1/2" (M12) terminals. Supposedly it has a 600a continuous current rating. I subjected it to 170a continuously for an hour or so and it got slightly warm (measured 100-110f with an infrared thermometer). Measured a 20-25mv drop at 170a. I'd be uncomfortable pushing much more than 250-300a continuously through it. I used a 3 5/8" hole saw to make a mounting hole. Required some sanding to get it to slide in completely. Most 275-300a battery switches cannot handle more than 125-150a continuously before getting very warm (even hot). This switch should be an excellent upgrade if you need more current capability.
