If you make matcha, or espresso, this is a must have tool. I use it whenever I'm weighing out matcha, espresso, cocoa powder or powdered sugar on the kitchen scale. Makes it very easy to adjust to the correct weight. It's impressive to me that a scoop with this shape can grab maybe a gram of matcha at a time without spilling.

Two of them can in fine, but the other two split down the middle.

There's really nothing not to like about this pretty standard, bamboo tea scoop. It's well made with good finishing using good bamboo, and it's easy to use and to clean. It seems a little bit pricier than I expected, but considering I got my previous scoops directly from Japan (along with some tea), this will have gone through more middlemen.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

I receive my package quickly. Was excited as I was craving matcha. I haven't had it for a while. Initially I was looking for a Japanese ceremonial grade matcha as I have had great as well as not so good matcha in the past i was looking to rekindle that great experience. Usually I don't have caffeinated teas after 4.pm as caffeine 'brightens my bulb' whenever I take it and could prolong the time I take to fall asleep. I couldn't wait to taste it. I opened and made a small bowl as soon as it arrived. It.The taste was very pleasant but mild, bear in mind that I did not want to prolong my wake time so I was delibetate in not using usual amount per bowl. I also added more milk than usual. I am pleased with my purchase. I can't wait to tweak my formula. Value for money - it is unbeatable. I have lots of matcha to experiment with, with this chinese matcha. Purchasing matchs dna could become a habit.

I recently got into matcha and wanted a scoop made for the type of tea. I bought this one because it was inexpensive and had good ratings. The seller did not package it very well- I'm lucky it did not break. I know that's more of a feedback issue for the seller, but I bring it up because perhaps the fact that it made it through the mail in nothing more than an envelope (no padding, no bubble wrap, nothing) attests to the spoon's durability. Nice spoon, affordable, and perfect for the matcha enthusiast.

This works just fine, feels good in the hand, and just seems like the proper way to prepare matcha, rather than just using a teaspoon. You will probably need to use several "scoops" to get your desired strength for a bowl of matcha since this holds a fairly small qty., but I'd say that's a good thing as you can easily home in on the number of scoops you prefer rather than trying to measure 2 1/3 tsp. each time. I've been using 3 scoops, 4 if I want the flavor more intense, but you can easily dial in your own preference. Simple tool, but glad I have it.Ken - Author of
