We use these for rice, miso, and oatmeal. The perfect little bowl when you don't want to use a regular sized bowl. Microwave and dishwasher safe and they look very nice. They even match my ceramic set and look very good for plastic.

These are well made. They just hold one cup, 8oz, filled to the top. It's fine for soup for an appetizer, but forget it for any main course. Still, does what I wanted just fine - appetizer size soup bowls. Plus, they have that nice Japanese restaurant look.
