If you're used to loud music, there aren't many,if any, small speakers going to satisfy your eardrums. Sound quality is decent up to about 50mph. After that it's just pure high hat treble you hear. I like JBL, they've always had good speakers. The plus side is they look excellent on my fatboy. I'd buy'em again if I had a 2nd bike.

hard to hear them even at 55mph. they do not have the jbl awesome sound... and already having problems with them not working right... had to disconnect them from the battery and reset them to get them to bluetooth connect in the middle of a ride sat. definitely not what i paid for!!! $250 and not happy!!

Awesome speaker for the money and size. Worked great on my Shadow. Water proof as all get out.. Never parked my bike under cover. Amazing bluetooth range. Only draw back is they could have been a little louder but for a set up this size it bangs. Definitely worth the money. Will buy again.

I installed this item on my scooter and loved it, AT FIRST. When using the installation kit with the all thread bolts, because of the length needed to clear the fairing on the handlebars, the mirrors and speakers vibrate ALLOT. They kept coming loose regardless of the locknuts and eventually I had to use #loctite. They stayed tight for awhile and I thought I had the vibration problem solved, but the all threads eventually stripped out the treads in the speaker base, this happened while on the fwy, dangling by the power cord while riding. It was a dangerous situation and I had no mirror to see to pull over. In short, the speakers were great, but the install kit not only stripped the product, but also the threads in my brake levers, in the end I sent them back and it caused me headache and repairs and left me with problems I didn’t have before. The LONG all threads are too thin to be used at the extreme ends needed to clear the plastic fairing, perhaps a 1/2” stock with the 8mm threads machined at the ends would work? I lost money buying this product for my scooter....
