Wire is fine for cheap wire....the ends are useless as they are so thin they won't hold a crimp.

So got the rolls of wire today and i get looking at it the wire inside the seath is more like a 12awg with a thick rubber seath to give it the appearance that its a heavy duty wire but far from it! Here is a 10awg wire i ordered a few weeks ago picture for compairison the 10awg is almost twice as heavy as the 8 awg i just got ..im not happy i dont think i will use this wire now i feel its not safe for my aplication

I found these wires to be great. I used them for installing an inverter to my rv. Gave the rest to my son. Plenty left over. I'll be ordering more for other projects in the rv.

8 gauge = 0.1285 inches or 3.264mm. 1/8” = 0.125 inches or 3.175mm.Pictured is a 1/8” drill bit. The wire should be the same or very slightly larger. It’s not.

Bought this wire because it came with the crimps. Either the crimps are badly oversized or this is not actually #8 gauge wire. Will have to purchase proper crimps which defeats the purpose of this purchase. Just tested with a #10 gauge aftermarket crimp. Fit perfectly. Now I am very concerned.

I order this for one of the tech in our shop and after opening it up the outside may look like eight gauge but wiring is very cheap and low quality..
