I have noticed rain chains other homes, and I’ve always wanted one. Every recent rainstorm when I saw water gushing down an ugly stream of water I decided this is the time! The fact that I could find one in blue like my house was even more special. The long one is very generous in fact, we had to easily remove three of the flowers to make the links work for our home. it hasn’t rained since we put it up, but I have high expectations and neighbors have already commented how good it looks. It means flimsy in fact it is wonderful quality. The fact that I found it on sale was even better. I will be ordering another for the back.

I needed a rain chain for directing water from a southwestern flat roof canale into a wide-mouthed rain barrel. This one, which arrived within a couple days of ordering it, is very pretty and was much less expensive than many. A regular hook might have made installation easier for a canale, which is a flat piece of metal (with edges) extending 6 or 8 inches from the roof. I haven't had a chance to see yet how it works, as our rainy season may just have ended.
