Lei que no se podia componer pues no se podia abrir. Descubri que si se puede. Hay un resorte adentro y las demas piezas se muestran en las fotos. El producto es muy bueno y util por una centesima del precio del GRS, Muy recomendable y llego antes del tiempo indicado.

After buying other wooden style it wasn't doing what I wanted, it kept falling off . I saw this one, even though it is plastic and had some less then perfect reviews , I got it anyway, I slightly modified the bench pin wooden part by cutting it off,now fits in my blue low end price bench pin holder nearly perfect on the first one ,upon reading some of the reviews I glued 2 small pieces of leather to the jaws [ not necessary]I like it so much I bought another one for a portable table I didn't put leather on it use it the way it is

Unfortunately not a particularly well made tool. The jaws didn't line up properly, and now something has clicked out of place and I can't open/close the clamp at all. The plastic is also really uneven with lots of sharp bits.In theory this should work well though (if not faulty) and is astronomically cheaper than a proper workholding system like GRS benchmate.

This is a great tool. It makes it much easier to work on rings using this ring clamp. My only criticism is that there should be something in between the clamps to make it easier to grip the ring band as well as not mark it up. Typically there is a thin piece of leather on the face of each clamp. I took the leather from one my other ring clamps and put in on this one and it works great. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a rotating clamp/vice to work on rings.
