This is a very cute bag for spring occasions. I needed a lighter colored bag and although I love clutches, I preferred an optional strap, which this offered. It has an appealing style. I ordered the beige, which is just an off-white or cream. The tassel is detachable and the optional long strap makes the top of the bag reach my waist at the longest point. I wish it was a tiny bit longer, because I prefer them to reach a bit further down on my hip, but it will work. The bag has a good, strong magnetic clamp top. The lining is very durable, heavier synthetic type, black material that is going to last. The stitching and construction are very good. The hooks on the straps have swivels which is an excellent detail. The hardware on the "beige" bag is all silver toned, which looks great. The bag has a flat bottom with a flat insert within the lining, which keeps it more stable when you place it somewhere. There is one pocket inside with a zip closure and a larger metal pull tab (matching silver). I worried a little that the bag could be too wide for my taste when I read the dimensions... but when I received it, due to the slightly gathered style, it doesn't look as wide as the 12", and I think it's perfect, width-wise. You can put a lot of items in it but it doesn't look enormous. It's a well made bag with good details and is versatile. Recommend!!
