Received diode starter part on time. Issue is that mounting is not same for my 2012 x300. Providing picture to show parts. Wanted to return but was no need as I got full refund. Purchased correct part at my local John Deere dealer for same price as here. Happy with end result but was a pain to place back original part when I realized that it was not going to work. Remember to take pictures before removing or battery may get damaged if installed incorrectly. Best thing to do is place numbers on cables and diode to facilitate re-installation. Hopefully this will help others.

The MIU10981 JOHN DEERE Starter Solenoid was exactly what I needed for my JD X324. Immediately after winter storage in New England, the JD engine would not start. After isolating the problem to a bad solenoid, I removed it and installed this new one. The machine started right-up. I'm very satisfied with both the product and the seller and I would purchase again if needed.

Did not fit my x300. Bracket was different and did not the bolt holes in the starter bracket that holds it in place. Had to grind part of the bracket off mount it horizontally using only one bolt versus two.
