If anyone has ever tried replacing a John Deere lawn tractor deck drive belt, then you all know that the only belt that actually ever works and will last more than a few hours is an OEM John Deere belt. And you also know that most every local mower/tractor repair shop is not an approved JD dealer, so all their replacement parts, including belts are from aftermarket suppliers. Which means you need to drive who know how far to locate an OEM JD dealer. Well, this is, in fact, an OEM JD deck drive belt that fits and wears like it should. OEM JD stuff is not cheap, but having at least a dozen non OEM belts hanging in my shed that didnt work, they are worth the price if they last and don't wear out in a few hours time. With all the crazy stuff John Deere is up to recently, I hope Amazon can keep supplying these belts for years to come. It's nice to have a part that works that I don't need to take an entire day to drive almst a hundred miles to get. Thank You Amazon.

The belt was a perfect fit for my John deer D130. Took about 20 minutes to change that’s with cleaning the deck, so if your belt is slipping, or you notice your grass is not being cut like it should, it’s time to change your belt, easy to replace, great Quality, and has held up for the last several grass cutting, oh yea I live in a retirement village, you have to cut your grass ounce to twice a week just to keep up with the neighbors.

I purchased this belt to replace the 11 year old belt on my JD D130 42" deck. The fitment was great and I've mowed three times now since installing this belt. It was interesting how much the original belt had worn down, but curiously wasn't cracked.I would recommend this item.

I purchased this belt, believing it may be better quality than other no-name belts sold unfortunately, after being installed, it broke in less than two weeks obvious signs of wear, and breakage are seen in the photos included in this review.Belt usually last 1-2 years.I purchased a John Deere believing it was better quality. But it lasted for less time than the no name brands.

Not sure what that pretty tan outer cover is or is for, but it wore off after just an hour leaving just a normal looking black belt.The belt itself has so far lasted longer than the more expensive supposed best quality belt I got from the auto parts store. In fairness I also tried the cheapest quality belt from the auto parts store and that belt, at half the price, lasted twice as long as the more expensive belt. One belt lasted an hour, the cheap belt made it 2 hours, this John Deere OEM belt has so far lasted 4 hours and still working.

Highly recommend, this belt is Brilliant, I have learned my lesson not to but cheap alternatives because I tried that and the cheaper belt snapped after a week. The original John Deere part is far superior and has been on the mower for weeks now without any issues. You get what you pay for.
