Used for john deere 770 compact tractor... I thought it was a little small but I guess it works ok.... how would one really know what it actually does?

Just a heads up that the JD filter you receive will be 1/3 smaller than last year’s filter which was 1/3 smaller than the filter it replaced. See photo.Delivery was prompt and item was correct.

I have an old JD850 tractor with Yanmar diesel and the oil filter replacement was very easy, the original JD filter was a little larger but this oil filter worked fine with no leaks, matched the engine block oil filter surface perfectly. Great price with JD quality I will definitely purchase again.
