I don’t admittedly do a lot of leather work, but these needles were exactly what was recommended in many places. I can appreciate why. They seem extremely durable. Easy to thread. No matter how hard I’ve pulled and torqued on them, I have yet to have one break. Frankly, the quantity is likely only to become relevant because I’ll probably lose some over time - I doubt they’ll break. Size has been perfect for anything I’ve done. Very functional and a great value.

I never understood what a handicap I was working under until I used there! All my other needles have been donated to the g'kids plastic canvas box!

These are great for leatherwork, sometimes a struggle to thread the needle but not enough of an issue to stop using.

Needed something better then what I could get locally and these fit that nicely. I am still on my first pair compared to the others when I went thru a 6 pack on one project.

These are good. If you were using the cheapo needles that came with a kit beforehand, you may need to get used to these, but once you do you'll see the true potential of these incredibly well made needles.

These needles are as good as everyone says they are , I am a novice to leather craft but they are better than the product I received with my "all the tools yo need to start"

You can stop searching now. This is the needle you want... nay, the needle you NEED. If you're hand stitching leather or heavy canvas cloth this is the one to go with. If you are using Ritza Tiger in 0.8 or 1.0 then this is the one (#17 aka 2/0). It was a tad confusing, at least for me, to find which size was going to be right for me using thicker Ritza thread and normal stitching chisels but it's been a few months now and these little guys live up to the hype. Do you need 25? Hell no. I haven't so much as bent a single one yet. The body is VERY sturdy, the swell around the eye is minimal for ease of passing through material yet withstands tons of pulling force without breaking [I'm looking at you Tandy], and the inside surface of the eye will not shred your thread halfway through a stitch line. Am I glad I have what seems like a lifetimes worth? Hell yes. Stop searching, just buy it.
