I ordered these since they were a pretty decent price. They looked good out of the box and fit as expected. One of the pairs wasn't sealed properly and swelled in the shower. This pair is now textured like bark and was a pain to get out. The other two pairs did not do this. Can't complain too much since these cost considerable less than what I normally pay for wood plugs at local body jewelry shops.

My husband is the one with the gauges. He is VERY picky about his gauges, and I took a shot in the dark for these babies. He said he feels like these run a tad big, but the quality is amazing! We highly recommend these to anyone!

I love these gauges so much, but the only thing is that they sized the 3/4 wrong as 20mm, and 3/4 is suppose to be 19mm. So when I bought other 3/4 as 19mm, they were smaller because these gauges stretched my ear bigger than it should have. But I love them so much and they are so comfortable and cute

I do like the darker color ones out of the 3 pairs, haven’t worn the other pairs yet. I’ve had my ears stretched out to a 1/2” for over 15 years now and my last pair of wooden plugs lasted me about 10 years. These are similar to the ones I had.I am a professional piercer since 2001And I am going to tell you that if you have holes larger than a 10g or 8g you will want wooden plugs “organic plugs” for your everyday wear, it helps tremendously on the stinkage and gunk build up. organic plugs are porous which helps with all that. These do “seem” like it does have a wood stain/polish/finish “On lighter pair ones” or even Wood paint “on the darker pair” I’ve been wearing the darker color pair for 2 months straight now and I “haven’t” noticed any paint chips or color fading yet, like in other reviews. And I even clean my plugs daily ”vigorously” with rubbing alcohol. And it’s true to size.jewelry needs to be clean when placing inside your body, even healed piercings can still get infected. Here’s the difference between the 3 pairs.Red pair plugs: it bulges out on top and is flat on the bottom it’s not smaller than the other 2 pairs it’s just “single” flair plugs and the design is what it make em appear smaller than the other 2 pairs.Light brown plugs: it’s “double” flair plugs with the top part having a concave to it and the bottom of the plug is flat.Dark brown plugs: it’s “double“ flair Plugs with both flat top and bottom. When you measure a plug, it’s measured from the center not the outsides of the plug. They do make plugs that doesn’t have any flair. And you can buy single flair and double flared plugs. The flair is what helps hold them in.If you’re having trouble putting your jewelry in try putting them in, in the shower. Lather the plugs up with dial antibacterial hand soap “orange color” and the heat from the shower will help expand your skin it makes it a little Easier to put in.For the price you get with these pairs you seriously can’t beat it. You are buying them at wholesale prices. I believe I paid $10 or less for 3 pairs, “3 pairs” !!! They’re not the best quality but they’re not to crappy either. It does it’s job at a good price. Out of these 2 months I have not had any skin irritations nor swelling with these plugs either.metal plugs you have to clean daily and can cause skin irritations. And metal jewelry has weight issues. Small Wooden plugs are also a lot more lighter weight than metal so your holes won’t stretch out as fast as metal jewelry ones will. Excluding holes bigger than 1”If you got “real” fat man lobes I can see that these might not be “long enough” the red pair might not possibly fit a fat lobe At all, since it’s not double flair. These are designed for medium to small lobes. Sorry to the hefty man lobes 😭It’s a good buy for the price! Thx Jovivi 👍🏼Update: 3-27-21 ok so I’ve had these for well over a year now. The darker colored ones I did stop wearing after 1st irritation, which was around 5-6 months of wearing em. But it could’ve been my fault for not cleaning as often as I should’ve. Never gave them another try.I ended up switching to the other darker “stained” wood ones. And those are now trash. When wood stays wet for an extended amount of time, it does expand. And when it did the wood started to make splinter like results. I’ve attached some new pics of them. So you can see what I’m talking about.I did get my money use out of these wood plugs. I never did try the red looking pair, they look to thin for me.I went back to ordered my jewelry from my regular jewelry company I just wanted to try amazon jewelry. Thanks say they’re a great backup pairs but don’t expect a long life wears out these. Overall a good buy! Worth the $10

All three sets of plugs were unique. There were no flaws. The two clearly wooden pair were a little odd. On one side they were rounded and on the other side they were either flat or inverted. I don't think it's a flaw but maybe just a design aspect I didn't noticed when purchasing. All together these are nice plugs. True to size and very light.

Two of the pairs were great. One pair was the wrong size and didn’t match each other, one was flat on both sides, the other was flat on one side and concave on the other. Won’t order again.
