Easy to install

Everything looks the same as the original factory ones, lights are little more blue tinted than the factory buttons but didn't bother me at all and the lights are fairly bright. As for installation, if you watch any of the videos that talk about just pulling the buttons out and trying to remove the clips that way, I'd highly recommend not doing that and taking the steering wheel off to do it. Taking the steering wheel off only takes an extra 2-3 minutes and and 21mm wrench but makes it so much easier to install. At first I tried to do the "easy" way and just remove the buttons but I messed the with the clips for probably 15 minutes and wasn't able to get them plugged in until I decided to just remove the steering wheel.

These units replaced the 18-year old original equipment in our Yukon. The finish is matte black and most of the characters are equivalent to the originals, except the lower left hand/disappearing road buttons. The other issue is the way the arrows and words are aligned on the top right button. The final difference versus the originals is the color; the replacements have a soft blue hue whereas the GM originals are greenish. Electrically, they operate just like the originals.

Super easy to install with a 90° pick. Took about 10 mins. No need to remove the airbag. Bottom right button has different logo than oem bit still functions the same. Highly recommended

I had some back lights burnt out on original switches so I bought these. They fit well and fixed the problem. They weren’t easy to install, this wasn’t anything to do with the switches. The GM wiring is extremely short in the steering wheel. I had to blindly use a pick to plug in one of them even after trying to pull the wires out a bit with pliers.

Graphics on the buttons are slightly different but that wasn’t a big deal to me. They fit right and look good at night. Steering wheel should be removed for easier installation but it can be done with the wheel left on. Have a set of pick tools handy.

The switches look almost like the oringals, just the road icon is a little different, but nobody would know if the old one was side by side to the new one. Not the manufacturers fault, but the lights are white and I missed that when I ordered them and they don't match the Sierra green dash lights exactly, but the switches made up for that! (I attached a photos, so you can see the difference). I replaced these due to having no lights on my steering wheel and wore out switches not working. Took me about 15 minutes to replace, using a 90° pick and removing the airbag to get a little more play in the wires. Make sure to disconnect your battery for 10-15 minutes before removing the airbag. Once the switches were removed the trick to getting the new ones in, is to make sure you have the 90° angle pick and hook the plug in the back, in-between the wires and get the new switch lined up, slowly feed/push the new switch into place while holding the wires with the pick. Once the plug snaps into place carefully pull the pick away from the wires and turn it 90° degrees and slide it out between the new switch and steering wheel. There are some YouTube videos out there! Good luck! Overall pretty happy. All the switches work as they should.

The ones I got work flawlessly. I was skeptical after reading some reviews as to how much brighter they were compared to other backlighting on the dash but these were perfect. Everyone of them lit up as intended. I think some of the negative reviews concerning nonworking issues stems from improper removal and installation. I would not use a tool to try and poke down the side to release the latch holding them in. The wires going to the plug are way too short to work with anyway and you will only wind up damaging it. Instead, do yourself a favor by removing the steering wheel and releasing the clamps holding the wiring in place. Takes ten minutes and very easy to do. YouTube is your friend. Don't know if it makes a difference but the seller that I purchased these from was JoyTutus.
