i pick up the item from location and the cover is not sealed and the wrapper is wet. Ive used almosthalf of the bottle without noticing any clearing of algae. I only use 3 teaspoon each treatment for my 200 gal. pond cause I am afraid it might kill the fish if I use more based from the other comments. I will not buy this product again.

It was easy to use and killed the string algae, but not the other pond plants.

I have a 50 gallon tank outside with few large fish in it and some smaller fish and some Waterlilly plants and the water had been getting quite green so I thought this product might help. I tried it several times and didn’t have any positive response. Then I emptied the tank and, put in a lot of freshwater and it’s a lot clearer now so it probably had some effect.

Not sure if people who report dead fish used the proper dose. I could not see the bottom of my pond. I already had the pond cleaned by my pond contractor. I was careful to dose for my size pond. After 2 treatments I saw an improvement but after the third treatment my water was clear. I can see my fish again. This stuff is great but I would be super careful about the dose or add less over time.

works really well but costly to just use this for outside pond. I suggest using the barley as first line of defense and then use this if you start to see algae. It works best in combination else you will be using a lot of this stuff. Chemicals in general are not good for anyone or fish and barley does work.
