Rod holding is secure and tight, and should not have any rod loss but be sure to make sure rod is fully seated in the clamp.

This rack was extremely easy to install and well made. Would definitely recommend if you are trying to organize your garage and get your fishing poles off the ground.

It's fine if you like to take the reel off of your pole, but I don't, and can only fit 3-4 poles with reels on it.
