Got this to replace a rope barrier. So much better! I don't know how long it is but I stretched it out to about 12' before I realized just how long it can be.We use it daily and it never jams.

Installation was relatively straightforward. The mounting plate is easy to attach to a wall or other vertical surface using the included screws. The retractable belt mechanism then clips securely onto the mounted plate. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.The 16-foot belt is a good length for creating a decent-sized barrier. The retraction mechanism works smoothly and efficiently. The belt retracts quickly and cleanly without any tangling or snagging.The black steel case feels robust and durable. It seems like it can withstand regular use and minor bumps without damage. The belt itself is made of a thick woven material that feels strong and resistant to tearing. The plastic end piece that connects to the receiver post is also sturdy.The black belt and black steel case have a professional and unobtrusive look. It blends in well with most environments and doesn't look cheap or flimsy.The barrier works as intended, effectively creating a physical barrier to direct foot traffic or restrict access to certain areas. The belt is easy to extend and retract as needed. The mechanism feels secure and reliable.While this is a Kaiyomi product, it's designed to be compatible with standard retractable belt stanchions and receivers. I tested it with a receiver post from a different brand, and it connected without any issues. This is a plus if you already have existing stanchions and just need a replacement belt mechanism.

This wall mounted retractable belt barrier is amazing for my office, it keeps people out of areas I don't want them in and it has a awesome 16 foot length. It includes everything you need to install however you like. This would be great for any small space like a restaurant hotel or event center. Reliable and practical solution!

Although some of the parts of this unit feel a little less robust than they might be, so far it works just fine, it is very long retractable barrier, and looks good in black. The receiver is also wall mounted, and although they claim 16 feet we have not extended it beyond 8 or 10 to measure it. But it definitely goes that far. This is an important feature if you have a wide space that you need to temporarily close off. Because of the automatic retraction, even extended fairly long the tensioner keeps the ribbon flat and taut.

I got these to rope off a hallway at church when we have some events. It helps everyone find their way without going into sections that aren't being used.

The people at Kaiyomi have produced an excellent 16 foot mounted retractable barrier, encased in a black steel for our quick purpose. Easy to install and use.According to our U.S. Constitutional, fourth amendment rights (see below), we are protected from illegal search and seizures. Thus, we had a real need for a quick remedy for our front gate here in Idaho, where the weather is not on our side, nor are our safety concerns, with those who we do not want on our property.According to Idaho law, a gate needs to be erected at the front entrance to warn, and stop all public, before they gain access, thus, trespass. Before you laugh.... Idaho law does not state exactly what a gate consists of. It does not state materials used. Thus, after proper consultation, this strip of cloth does represent a gate, just as in the theaters, banks, ECT. Therefore, if you are concerned about someone unwanted coming to your front door, legally, a physical barrier "gate" must be placed, showing where you've drawn a line, stopping all public access. In my opinion, first, for full understanding, read our U.S. Constitution for our fourth amendment rights below. Said barrier gives an excellent quick and easy way to show where public access stops, that includes law enforcement. It gives the property owner needed distance and time to evaluate a situation, away from the front door, from the unwanted, espcially, for women.Remember, a gate with a no trespass sign(s) is where the public access stops.Fourth Amendment:The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.Questions, please ask. Not sure how this will hold up. the plastic pieces have me worried and don't fit the cylinder all that well. I guess if it's not yanked to death, it should hold, we'll see.
