I don’t quite understand the bad reviews.I’m more than 100% satisfied with this warmer, so I bought it in both black and ivory as well.My skin is extremely sensitive, so I can’t wear anything made of cheap materials, but this is very soft and never irritates my skin. The size is perfect for me—I wear a US Women’s size 2.My husband(wearing US man M) tried it as well, and while he said it’s not tight, he found it slightly uncomfortable after wearing it for a day. However, he enjoys using it as a neck warmer or belly warmer while running outside in cold weather.I will probably buy another color!!

These haramaki are lovely. It is a pack of two lightweight silk cotton blend waist warmers. Make sure that you are aware before purchasing that these are not the thick woolen haramaki some might expect. These are best worn under clothing. They do not roll up. I found that it was best to hand wash and hang dry them. It is best not to put silk in the washer or dryer.

Kakun Japan Signature™ Soft and Silky Stomach Warmer is very nice! It is made with a thin, stretchy material that is woven nicely and has serged edges. There are two of them in this pack and due to the material, I like to hand wash and air dry them. They fit nicely and keep my midsection warm, as it hugs my body. This is nice to wear when the weather is cool outside (not freezing, that you would need something more substantial than these).

They’re what they say they are but I just don’t feel they do any for me

This tummy warmer is so cozy, soft and stretchy. I’ve never worn one of these before, but I’ve had it on all day, and don’t want to take it off! It very warm, and comforting. It isn’t tight at all, just a soft little hug around my middle, and I really do feel warmer. I don’t know if this has any health benefits, but I’ve really like how it feels. The fabric is really nice quality, and soft.

These definitely make a difference in keeping your core warm, while being incredibly comfortable. They are soft material with quite a bit of give, and to my surprise they don't roll up or down even with prolonged wear. I often forget I am wear one. I run cold, so these are very welcome on colder days and I noticed that they work so well I go more often without a jacket or sweater, and even get a little hot when cooking.Of course, they aren't for freezing temperatures and you are better off with an underlayer in that case, but I am very happy with them and use them often since I got them. I love that it is a two pack, so you aren't wearing the same one everyday since they do pick up skin oils and need to be washed.I highly recommend these for casual wear if you run cold like me. They don't compress at all, but they are also pretty invisible under both t shirts and tank tops.

It's hard to tell what this wrap (haramaki (?)) looks like in photos. I thought it would be very thin, but it's a bit thicker than I expected, and has a pretty knit design, a horizontal zig-zag.Unfortunately, there's no tag on the wrap. It turns out, the sticker on the bag beneath the top one had a few symbols, but I was finding different translations for one, so this may or may not be fully accurate for washing and drying (and is just referring to the washing and drying symbols):Washing: Machine wash, shows two lines beneath and 40 inside the basin. I saw two different explanations for what this means about machine settings, so it seems better to just explain its appearance.Drying: Line dry in the shade.I was surprised that there were two inside the baggy. There's so little information provided about the wrap, that I'm not sure if you're supposed to get two per bag, or just one. But because I have two, I thought that was a good opportunity to run one through a normal laundry load (washer and dryer) with other laundry and see what happened, ignoring the drying instructions. (Because I like easy to care for clothing!)I do think that it changed from washing and drying it, especially the serged ends, which I would be concerned about holding up over time. It's a bit more "fuzzy," and may have shrunk slightly, but it's hard to tell because the shape also changed from wearing it. The change from the laundry wasn't enough for me to not wash and dry them how I did, but I can see why it has the washing instructions it has, and why it would be best to follow them.Because it fits close to the skin, this does help with added warmth, at least for me. It shifts around quite a bit, but for me isn't something I'd wear out and about, so it's easy to adjust it as needed. I appreciate that it was actually made in Japan! That makes it feel even more special.
