First, even with the rear seat bolt in place they still move from side to side if moved slightly.Second, as a result of the constant sliding they scratched my bike! My matte paint is ruined due to these bags. DO NOT RECOMMEND!Invest the money and buy proper bags that bolt to the frame. What I should have done to begin with.

These are very nice , good quality saddle bags. Fits my Iron 883 perfect. Definitely recommend these.

I was skeptical about this purchase at first. I have a 883 sportster that was converted into a trike. The description said not suited for a single seat. Also, because of the conversion, the shocks have been moved. I couldn't stand the wide space between the tires and the body of the bike so I went for it. I am glad I did. They look awesome!

I’ve been watching these bags for a while and they went on sale. So I purchased them. The bags were easy to install and look great. I do recommend using the zip ties. I use both the laces and the zips tie. Good product for the price and love them on my sportster. They also hold quite a bit.

I must of gotten a bad one stitching gave out on top flap. But Good Customer service to resolve problem.

Let’s do some pros and cons on this one.Pros:- Much more storage than my bike’s small swing arm bag- LOCKS!- Easy to add or remove from the bike- Adds much needed storage to my Sportster- Packaged well- 4 laces included and only needed one. Gives me spares in the case of bad wear or breakage.Cons:- The smell!!! Holy Christ I had to put them outside today in the sun for over 2 hours to get that odor to a point I could be near them in the garage.- No instructions or help on how to “sew” them together with the included laces. I had to go to the manufacturer’s website and find a video for a similar set and freeze frame it to even get a clue how the laces should run.- Poor fit on my Sportster. It does fit as described on the listing but the bag doesn’t sit flush against the bike. Just the downside to the shock design on the bike I guess.Overall, I’m not unhappy with these but I am removing a star because of the lack of instructions on how to tie them together and the horrible smell. I get that leather has a smell but this synthetic leather is putrid for a while after it’s out of the plastic.If you’re looking for an affordable set of bags for a Sportster, these aren’t a bad option.
