I love the look of it, the leather is nice, good quality. It's pretty low to the ground though, so not great for an ottoman. Kids like to jump off of it.

These are replacements for two I had bought in Morocco 38 years ago but have started to deteriorate recently. The leather on these new ones appear as good as the originals and seams well sown, so I expect many years of good use from them. Zipper closure seems solid as well.

I love the fact that this is real leather and came unstuffed. I do not like the fact that it smells like my cows in the pasture. I definitely had to air it out for a couple of days to get the strong smell out.** I bought this version unstuffed after buying a stuffed version. The pre stuffed version I bought before came stuffed with old shreds of material, candy, wrappers, and whatever else seem to be on the floor of some warehouse. We started seeing bugs and fleas around them soon after we bought & couldn’t figure out Where these bugs were coming from in our carpet until we opened up the pre stuffed Ottomans and found them inside it. I will never again buy this type of ottoman already stuffed.Hence we bought the ones unstuffed and now I’m trying to figure out how to get them stuffed fully , so that my toddler grandchildren can sit on them and my elderly mother can use them to proper feet on. I do love the style and the feel, of the leather. I’m not sure how well they’re going to hold up yet, as I just got them. I bought the gray color & it matched my cream colored couch perfectly.

It arrived a little later than expected, but I was not disappointed. Beautiful, deep blue (not navy, tho, a good solid blue Jean blue). The embroidered motif on top is exquisite. It appears to be well made, and the zipper on the bottom works smoothly. I bought liner bags so I could stuff it myself. That way the stuffing is contained. There is no smell or odor whatsoever from the product, which makes it usable right away. I think this was a good purchase.

This arrived looking as expected, however, as soon as I took it one of the packaging I nearly got sick from an overwhelming stench of -not kidding- VOMIT. I mean what the ACTUAL….??? I’ve owned plenty of hand made leather products in my life and never experienced anything like this. I asked it out for several days, that didn’t do much. Finally, I used a leather waterproofing spray MORE than liberally, and 2 coats at that- because I’d rather smell the chemicals in that than vomit.Yes, I should’ve returned it for a a replacement, but something told me I’d either get the same one back or they all smell this bad…. Idk. Either way, I’d planned to store off Season clothes in it, now I don’t think I want to risk it. We’ll see.I mean…. It’s Like somebody went into work in the warehouse after a 4 day bender; grabbed this ottoman to fusilli the order, threw up all over it, wiped it away quick and boxed it up. That’s how bad it smelled.

I love these poufs and the design is beautiful. The leather is thick, it’s well made and very sturdy. Tip: use old linens and towels as your stuffing to add weight and help keep the shape. These make a beautiful addition to your home. Unfortunately, these lose two stars as I was sent baby pink and black rather than the creamy white and black I had ordered. The pink is not my favorite, but I can work with it.

This pouf checks all the boxes! Real leather, great quality, low odor, beautiful color, affordable price, and it’s customizable (I stuffed mine with a big pillow and old crochet blankets to make it sturdy.)I’ve been wanting a pouf like this for several years, but they are always too expensive. When I found this one, I was skeptical, but it worked out wonderfully. I like that it’s just the cover because it gives me a place to store unused blankets that I’m not ready to part with.My only concern is that the zipper pull is so big that it’s left a few small gouges in my wood floors. Nothing major, but I may end up putting a rug under it.As far as odor, there is a slight smell from the goat leather, but it fades after a couple days.I liked it enough that I plan to purchase a second one soon!

This pouf is the perfect size, amazing quality, comfortable & really looks great. I didn’t notice much of a smell besides typical leather- which is comforting to me. I stuffed mine with old clothes to make it really heavy and sturdy. We use ours by the door to sit on to put on & take off our shoes. We got a camel color with brown color trim for longevity purposes. I’ve noticed that the lighter color trim tends to get dirty- so I’m happy with my choice. Highly recommended.

Authentic quality. Perfect color not too dark brown and not too light, natural variations make it beautiful- it is a medium cinnamon/ cognac color. Looked and looked around and this was the most reasonable price I found and many reviews (of many different sellers) talked about the strong smell. I left it outside for a day on the covered porch and brought them in- very light leather smell nothing obnoxious at all. Only wish is the zipper itself went under a little flap of leather or fabric as not to scratch my wood floors, but it’s an easy enough fix with some tape or I can sew some fabric over it myself. I stuffed it with the filling from the old pouf I bought these to replace and for the second pour I stiffed it with extra decorative and sleeping pillows I know will never use again. The one with the old filling is heavier and denser, the one with the pillows of course is puffier and lighter. Love them around, in front of our rockers, by the fireplace for our feet, kids to sit on, etc. Look great, we definitely love.
