This skin fits my 2021 MacBook Air like a glove. It does take a minute to acclimate to the keys being raised, but once you do it helps you type with higher accuracy because your nails aren’t inadvertently hitting nearby keys nearly as much as on a flat keyboard.

I got this for my spouse in our home office. They have long nails that slightly extend past the tip of their finger by a few millimeters. Normally they type by holding their hands flat over the keyboard and pressing keys with the pad of the finger. I have shorter nails so I type with my fingers curled, hitting the keys with my finger tip.The valleys in between the letters give your long nails a place to sit comfortably so you can curl your fingers a little more. The raised letters let your fingers hit the key from many angles, rather than just straight down. For example, you can bump the letter nub from either the top or the side, it will rotate the column and translate into downward movement at the bottom so the key stroke registers. It's very clever. My spouse says the heart shape is functional because their nails rest comfortably around the contour and give more control over typing.All goes to say, typing is much more accurate and ergonomic. I strongly, strongly recommend for anyone with long nails. My spouse says she will travel with this item because it's so helpful.It works on her HP Pavillion because they keyboard is almost the exact same dimension as the MacBook Pro, so if you don't have a MacBook, measure your keyboard. Mine is about 10.75" long and 3.5" wide, not counting the escape key. Spacebar is about 3.5" long. (Sorry my tape measure does not have cm but I think the conversion factor is inches x2.54). The command, option, control, function and windows buttons are different between PC and Mac but it's not an issue if you touch type. May be momentarily confused if you look at the keys when trying to use these buttons.Honestly was not sure if this was a gimmick before I bought, but my spouse always uses it now and says it's really helpful.

This is exactly as described. It comes with the little brush which is nice, although I do wonder if anything other than a trip to the sink to wash it off will help since it's silicone and everything sticks to it. Idk we will find out down the road. For now the keys fit over my keyboard and they're firm enough to hold up under the pressure - meaning there's no buckling when pressing down, causing typos. The case was cracked, which stinks because it was a decent little storage case, but oh well.... Otherwise if you are in the market for one of these, I can tell you this one is a good buy, imo.

Love the cute heart shaped keys! It’s a different feeling, but I can still type with accuracy with long or medium length nails. Will definitely recommend to my nail clients!

I love my folding keyboard, but I often have trouble missing the keys because of my fingernails. Out of curiosity, I got this keyboard cover to see if it would work on my keyboard even though it’s not an Apple keyboard. It works! It covers all the required keys and makes them much more sensitive to my touch. I can type with ease now. Obviously the fn, ctrl, opt, and command keys are not the same on my keyboard, but I rarely use those buttons so it’s not an issue for me. My number buttons are a little off too, but they still function normally. Overall I’m really glad I took the risk and got this cover. Please note that I measured the letters portion of my keyboard to make sure that it was the same length as this cover. I took 1 star off only because it’s not a universal cover and because the arrow buttons are very close together so it makes them a little hard to use. Lastly, this cover has a smooth soft feel to it that it lovely to the touch.
