These are some of the most heavy-duty paper towels I have seen. They are large and will hold up to just about any cleaning task. They are soft and pliable, though certainly stiffer than a typical paper towel. They are also very absorbent. While you could use these around the house and kitchen (great for cleaning up grease or other tough stains), they are really good for shops and garages. They won't tear apart on the slightest snag. All that being said, they're pretty expensive. Obviously designed for highly controlled labs, they are well packaged and $125 gets you 500 of them. I guess that's not too unreasonable for home use, given you only need to use one at a time, which is probably equal to 5 standard paper towels.

I will be honest: I got these to review for nothing more than household cleaning and jobs around the house. They are actually designed for medical and professional applications where a lint-free wipe is needed, but the quality is so high that they have many uses beyond this. I will have difficulty EVER going back to ordinary paper towels after using these. Here are just several of the tasks that were made SO MUCH EASIER by these wipes:★ Bike maintenance. I fix bikes on the side now and then, and these wipes are AMAZING for this job. The material is so strong that they can withstand the force of a chain being run through them for cleaning, or a rim spinning fast under the wipe, or any other task where the wipe is encounter rough edges. A normal paper towel would disintegrate. These wipes are pretty much as tough as a cotton towel. Best of all, you can throw out the greasy wipe when you're done instead of running it through the wash (which my wife hates).★ We had some rocking chairs that needed a good cleaning and re-painting. Paper towels can't handle the job, and normal towels were too weak. These wipes performed amazingly. The material is so thick and strong that one side of the wipe would absorb dirt/grime while the other side stayed clean. I would estimate that one of these wipes is worth about 10 paper towels, maybe more.★ They have been great for cleaning windows around the house, primarily because you can use ample amounts of window-cleaner without leaving behind any lint at all. Truly amazing. Here's the long and the short of it. These are pricey. But if you value your time and like a quality *disposable* wipe, there is probably nothing better on the market. Great for homeowners and I'm sure the natural choice for hospitals and professional environments. These are really amazing. Give them a try.

I use these to clean my glass rods before using them to make glass beads, marbles and icicles. In order to get a good clean glass bead, your glass needs to be extra clean or your beads will be scummy looking. These are perfect for that as they, not only clean, they don't leave lint all over the glass that can cause your imperfections in the finished product. These should last me a few years so the cost isn't really a big factor for me. It makes cleaning my glass much easier and I don't have to worry about it when I sit down at the torch and start creating. So, for what I am using them for, they are perfect for me and my circumstances.

These wipes are designed for critical-task applications such as clean rooms for manufacturing where lint can be a problem, but they are great for plenty of "off label" uses such as household cleaning. They are also great for tasks in the workshop such as wiping surfaces before painting or staining. They work great for automotive tasks too such as transmission work where the manual tells you to wipe a component down with a "lint-free cloth" before assembly; ordinary cotton or polyester rags and "premium" workshop-grade (the blue ones) paper towels will still leave particles behind that can clog up small fluid passages. They are fairly expensive and not economical for general everyday use such as cleaning up spills/tossing in the trash but they are very durable and can be re-used. I experimented with using them as dishcloths and you can do a lot of washing with just one; you can let it dry out and use it again several times before it starts to fall apart. They work good for window cleaning too. I wondered how soft a "100 percent polypropylene" cloth would actually be and was pleasantly surprised by how soft they actually are. They don't leave particles behind like paper towels do.I did a quick calculation and they come out to around 16 cents each. That seems like a lot compared to conventional paper towels but even "Industrial" cleaning wipes cost around 11 cents each. It might take the casual household user years to use up a case of these but they are great for tasks that require a truly "clean, lint-free cloth".We've found plenty of uses for them around the house for general cleaning duties, in some instances just one sheet will do the work of dozens of paper towels since they can be rinsed and wrung out over and over again. I'm sure they excel in the application they are actually designed for, laboratory and other "clean room" applications. They come packed flat in a special anti-static double-bag package that keeps them well protected and easy to store. I give them 5 stars for versatility and durability. You get the quality you pay for with this product.

Kimtech wipes 33330 work great for our clean room facility cleaning. Being a medical manufacturer of wound care products, it is extremely important that these wipes are lint free and hold together well. Amazon has the best price on these wipes of anyplace I have found.
