I had 2 old fans that came in the case originally that were just loud at startup and even after running a while. It was time to replace them and these are doing the job perfectly. It is for a PC in the corner of my basement that is always running so these are now quiet enough I don't hear them like I did with the old ones they replaced that had reached EOL.

It may not be "silent" but it is very quiet. It still moves lots of air to keep my DC-DC converter nice and cool.

An excellent, low cost low noise fan. Just about as efficient and quiet as case fans twice the price, these are certainly worth the money to try. The connector has a 2 prong moles and a prong for attaching to the mother board both which makes them quite versatile as well. If I have a complaint, it is the frailer nature of the cords. This can be easily managed, however, with good cable management and given the price point to overall quality is a rather minor complaint. If you have a budget build in mind and need to save a few bucks here and there without sacrificing much performance, this is the fan for you.

Fan was very inexpensive so I was a bit leery. but it was the exact replacement for my existing fan which was working for 8 years. Old one got noisy. took 5 minutes to switch. now nice and quiet.

I initially gave this fan a one star because the airflow was so low - it wasn't the fans fault. Turns out that fan speed can be set in the BIOS; either Auto, DC or PWM. Set the fan source to DC and speed to 1500rpm. Everything ok and quiet.

40 CFM?? Yes these are very quiet but that's mostly due to them not spinning very fast. If you need to move a lot of air, look elsewhere. I use these for a custom project and they work well for my purposes.

Excelente ventilador para mantener refrigerada la computadora. Pensaba utilizarlo para la fuente de poder de mi PC pero calculé mal la altura del artefacto (lo necesitaba slim, de 15mm). Las medidas publicadas corresponden a la descripción (8x8x25mm). Es de construcción sólida, buenos acabados, funcionamiento silencioso y muy económico. El vendedor y Amazon cumplieron puntualmente la entrega en mi domicilio. Recomendable!

My previous review was incorrect. The fan is actually quite quiet, it was an air filter that was blocking too much air from being sucked into the interior of the machine.
