This shuts off the flow of gasoline to the carburetor when you turn off the key. Mine was not working so the mower would run on after it was turned off. The new part solved the problem.

Fit up and worked well, was an exact replacement for a Cub Cadet (Kohler 7000 series engine) vee twin-Much cheaper than the factory supplied item

Was looking for this part for over 2 weeks. Found it on Amazon. Was exactly what the customer needed, fit their lawn mower perfectly and fix the issue that they were having. Would highly recommend for anyone that has a mower that is compatible with this type of solenoid. Very easy to install. Very easy to open. Packaging was perfect. Was not damaged.

After installing, it would not seat deeply enough. It left a gap that leaked. There was no gasket. I had to replace the whole carburetor.

This completely fixed my Cub Cadet zero turn starting issue. My one year old cub cadet was not getting fuel and by process of elimination it came down to this part. The install was 5 minutes and very easy. I do have two suggestions to make this perfect. 1) Use the right petroleum approved yellow Teflon tape. The normal white Teflon tape is for plumbing and water not fuel. No leaks with the right Teflon tape. 2) These tend to go bad quickly because they are at the bottom of the bowl and fuel is constantly sitting on/in them. To prolong the life of this solenoid put an inline fuel shut off valve so you can run the carburetor completely dry every time you turn off the engine. I have the Kawasaki FR691V
