I have been using this Kirschbaum Synthetic Gut in the crosses of my Clash 100 (v.1) racquets. I pair it up with Kirschbaum Pro Line Rough 17 in the mains. I used to play a full bed of the Pro Line Rough, but found it just a bit harsh for my coaching duties. Combining it with the Kirschbaum Synthetic Gut in the crosses has given me a much softer feel. To maintain the same level of control, I string the mains at 54 lb. and the crosses at 58 lb. I usually get a good 20 hours of play on these strings before I start to feel some loss of control, and that is primarily due to the poly strings in the mains. At that point, I have no notching, but just a slight thinning of the crosses. I have my wife's Clash strung with a full set of the Synthetic Gut, and she has been playing it with no issues and good comfort I am on my second reel, and am very pleased with this string for my hybrids.

This is the synthetic gut, which is the least sophisticated string there has been since forever it seems. It is good within its limitations. The price is unbeatable. If you're not a hard top spin hitter it will do the job pretty well for you, like it has for many players before. Did I mention the price?

I tried this string for racquetball. Only at around 32 pounds and after about a week of play, the string snaps. I've tried multiple times and the results is the same. It's not worth saving money on this one. I'm going to buy higher quality strings next time.

This string feels good for the first 10-15 hours of play time but quickly fades and feels mushy and loses tension. But, at sub 30$ a reel, I can restring my racket every week, for a total string cost each week of less than $2. Overall an incredible value for the price I have no idea how they make money on this product.

It seems to be a really good string. I don't have so much experience in stringing racquets, less than 10 probably but when I compare this synthetic gut with 2 others that I used, this one should be good enough for the first or second place. I think it is a bit soft but let me update the review after a few weeks of playing with that racquet.

I am a rated tennis player and play competitively. Understanding this string will feel different based on your type of racket and string tension here is what I observed when using this string for roughly 15 hours of play. I strung this string at 54lbs on a graphite 98" racket. The string feels thin more like 17g. It has a good bite to the ball for heavy top spin players. With hard ground strokes and 100 + mph serves the string does not seem to absorb shock very well. It has somewhat of a wire feel and can be a bit harsh on the arm when powering up on the ball. Directional shots work well but the string does not give much touch or feel with each shot during net play. I would rate as a good solid string for competitive play but would caution the hard feel of the string for those who tend to get tennis elbow.
