The string was as advertised. The string itself is good quality, one of the better options from Kirschbaum. Has good grab, and tension retention.

I purchased these strings because they were rated high in spin. They deserve their rating! I am an older female player that relies on spin to keep my opponents off balance. I get lots and lots of spin with this string. It lasts forever, too.

I purchased this string because I really liked the yellow spiky shark. I was very disappointed as the string came with a week spot in it and when I pulled tension when I was almost done stringing the mains, it snapped. I have no idea how it plays, but am mad at throwing money down the drain.

Just like the Super Smash Spiky of years past but a little bit softer and less harsh on the arm. There are small (micro) slits that run length wise with the string that kind of give it a star shape if you were to look at an end of it and the added texture seems to help grip and spin the ball better (at the very least way more fuzz sticks to them than most other string so there's something going on). They hold tension well, have great power and control, and generate heaps of spin. So far it's my favorite poly out there, so give it a try if you're in the market for
