We divided the rack into 2 units and placed one near the front and back doors. It helps keep shoes from collecting on the floor in front of the doors. The racks are made of reasonable sturdy plastic and it serves it's purpose well.

love it!!! easy to assemble...sturdy and fits nicely in closet under the rack of clothes. I set it up as 2 separate racks. Getting another for my husband.

Easy to put together. Plenty sturdy enough for my shoes. I was even able to put two pairs in one slot because I don't have enough room for more than one stack that only holds 6 pairs (unless you use the top which I chose not to do). It looks good and is exactly what I need! I only had room to put six where I needed them to go so I made one extra box and am using it under my bed for my house shoes! This is really a great solution for my tiny closet!

These shoe organizers are the best. They can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Keeps my floor clear of shoe clutter. My size 11 women’s shoes and sneakers fit nicely with room to spare. Putting it together was easy but does require firm pushing to engage the joining clasps. I liked the organizer so much, I bought a second one!

When broken down into two sets it’s a good shoe rack, but caution when going on top of one another.Because the rack is made of plastic the weight of shoes will begin to tilt the rack, eventually causing it to fall over.

It helped to free up some space in my closet as it's very compact. The only draw back is that it is light weight and it would be "great" if it was built more heavy duty. I gave 4 stars for this reason. Perhaps by using a heavier plastic top and bottom piece it would make it more sturdy. I'd be willing to pay a little more for a heavy duty option. I put this in my side storage closet on carpet and it still stands good. The unit is a little wobbly, but unless you use a lot of force, it won't tip over. For the price and convenience, it was a great purchase. I've only had it assembled for one day so this is my opinion as of now.
