So I had gotten another of their cooling pads and it didn't work very well for my laptop, which is fine considering the size and position of my vents, I have Cyberpower TRACER V EDGE R15E 15in. I had contacted support about it and the person who helped me was phenomenal and suggested this one instead.-----This one however is perfect! My laptop runs hot typically, I play ESO on ultra, and it can get it cookin' if I play for several hours (which I do since I RP and build houses). Only negative is if you have a bigger laptop it may not work as well just due to the dimensions.TLDR: 10/10 do recommend if you game.*The first thing I will say is the quality of this is extremely high, you can feel the heft in the plastic and metal bits, it's not hollow and cheap.*If you want a quiet fan system, this is the one you want, you can barely hear it. My laptop fans themselves are louder.*Even though I don't like the RGB lighting, it's distracting and way too bright for me, they are really clear and if they are your thing it's a good choice.*Keeps my laptop secure so it doesn't slide all around.*I like how I can raise it up high so I can see better and it again stays secure and I don't have to worry about it sliding.*I play on a lap desk on my couch and that's the reason, not just because i worry about the heat of the laptop, I chose this so it keeps my lap cooler.*I also like the adorable comic that comes with it that shows the dev team. It's really cute and the thought and detail put into that points out that this is a good company that cares about their product.

This cooling pad works as advertised and seems of good quality, it has one large cooling fan which is great because it can move a lot of air and is quiet. The lighting can be adjusted for different colours or turned off. The fan speed can be controlled but even at full speed it is quiet. The body is made of plastic but it has a metal perforated grill the allow good air movement and heat transfer. All in all, a good product with above average performance.

My laptop is 17 inch - it has AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12 Core CPU / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. It's used mostly for web development, graphics (adobe CC) and a bit of warcraft but lately I've wanted to do some video editing on Premierepro and found it was getting too hot and shutting down.I tried cleaning it all out for dust but there wasn't much inside and still afterwards, there was a lot of heat, especially on the right hand side where I suspected the internal fan either wasn't working or not doing an awful lot.I had an N11 Tecknet cooling pad but it just didn't seem to be blowing out much cool air. So I bought this having watched Tech Tyrial's very helpful review on Youtube. From the comments it looks like he used the Mistral initially (I didn't fancy that because of the noise) but had some probs and moved on to the Klim Ultimate. It's a sturdy cooling pan and has a nice height adjustable feature. The lights are of course a nice bonus. It also arrives very nicely packaged. It plugs into the laptop via USB. It's nice and quiet even on the highest setting.I've had it just a day but I've noticed an immediate improvement. I've been able to run Premiere Pro and happily edit for hours with no shut down. I'm positioning the cooling pad a bit to one side so the big fan is blasting right under the warmest side.I'm using coretemp - temps seem cooler - I'd say about 10 degrees lower roughly - usually it climbs into the high nineties and then shuts out.So, so far a great purchase, I'm very happy. Obviously I can't comment on durability as I've only just started using it.

I play on an MSI Pulse GL 66, which is a great laptop, but it gets HOT. It's never overheated to the point it shut down, but it regularly gets super hot to the touch and, during high intensity situations (like in certain parts of Cyberpunk or boss fights in FFXIV), the "oh sh!t" fans would occasionally kick on. Even thought my laptop isn't overheating per se, the higher temperatures make me worry about its longevity. I wanted to try something, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of applying new thermal paste, so I read several reviews that all agreed this is the best cooling pad on the market, and this thing seriously lives up to the hype.I found it hard to believe two things: 1) that the fan would be silent. It is. The only way you're going to hear it is if you shut down your computer and listen in a completely silent room, and even then it's only a whisper, even at the highest speed. So, set yours on as fast as it will go, because you can't hear it anyway. 2) I didn't believe it would work. It works, and probably much better than you think it will. My CPU usually ran in the 60s and 70s on easy stuff, then it would hit the 80s (along with much louder fans) during intense stuff, and then Oh Sh!t fans would kick on at 90. Now, with this pad on full blast, the temperature never goes above 80 (I usually see 70-80 during high-intensity areas like boss fights or in major cities) and the internal fans rarely speed up above normal (that's right; this thing is powerful enough to keep the laptop from having to use its own fans). The "hopspot" above the keyboard never heats above warm (whereas it was nearly searing before), and the bottom of the laptop is always cool to the touch. The LED lighting is cool, too, if you're into that sort of thing. I just stuck mine on red and left it, but it does other colors and patterns that I haven't played with. Just be warned that this requires two USB-A ports. One powers the fan and the other powers the RGB.I have one concern, though. To help with airflow and because of my desk space, I keep the pad on its most vertical setting. The tab that holds the laptop in place is both small (maybe 2.5"-3") and is made of the same thin plastic as the rest of the pad. It's fine now, but I'm worried it won't be able to sustain the weight of the laptop in the long term. I have a new desk coming soon, and it has a place where I will probably be able to keep the pad at a flatter setting. Hopefully that will prevent any issues.Even with that small problem (that may or may not actually be a problem), I still 100% recommend this. It does literally everything it says.

I don’t often write reviews, only when a product is special and is deserving of the time. This is one of those times. This fan made me feel a thousand times better about using my new gaming laptop. The built in fans were not cutting it and the bottom of the laptop was extremely hot to the touch. The PC cost over $3,000 with the ram and SSD upgrades I purchased for it and the idea of at best possibly ruining my battery eventually to at worst frying my mother board or CPU was terrifying. So I was on the hunt for a laptop cooling fan. I researched a few different options but after looking carefully and reading several reviews I decided to give this a shot. The grate is a nice feeling metal and the cooling pad itself is light but extremely sturdy. It doesn’t feel cheap despite the plastic build for the rest of the parts. The RGB is beautiful and it is big enough for my big 17” QHD laptop. I tested my computer using all ultra settings (with my fancy RTX3070) and the computers bottom was COOL to the touch. It was so hot before it hurt my hand on the hottest parts of the lap top. The fan is much more silent than I imagined even on the highest setting. The adjustable height bottom is perfect for getting the right ergonomics as I sit on the floor when I’m gaming due to the low table in the living room so my hands don’t hurt at all while playing. This machine was worth every dollar, and not only that but the creators of the cooling pad even left a hilarious note about how it’s packaged before it arrives to you. No spoilers you will have to by one yourself, but let’s just say it gave me a good laugh and made the product feel premium like it is. 100% satisfied. I heard their customer service is amazing too but I wouldn’t know because it worked perfectly directly out the box.

Merci Klim !!!
