The K&N RF-1020DK Black Drycharger Filter Wrap is a great addition to my setup, offering solid protection for my air filter. I just replaced my old K&N filter that was on its last leg, and probably hadn't been cleaned in years. I ordered this one, and it took 60 seconds to replace. It's great quality and very easy to swap out. Amazon is the best.

Easy to install and once I had it in, I could feel a difference in how it drove and sounded. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a ton of power but I did notice it and the sound was a deeper tone. I love what I got out of this filter purchase, well worth it.

If your vehicle seems to have lost its growl, might you have checked the cold air intake air filter LATEly? This one fits the AF Dynamic Cold Air Intake sold on Amazon and is a great replacement filter for that application. This filter works well on my vehicle and was a 45 min change-out inclusive of a completion test run around the block.

If this is necessary, WHY DOES IT NOT COME WITH THE FILTER/INTAKE KIT?? Too new to comment on longevity, easy to install, VERY overpriced.
