I love the weight and feel. If you can't cut something with the fork, you can definitely cut it with the knife. No steak knife needed.

They are just gorgeous, I love them. Perfect for a fancy dinner, yet strong and sturdy enough for even camping. I wouldn't, bit that's how well they are made. I have 3 sets and I really don't use them for everyday. Maybe at dinnertime but not just for lunch or breakfast. I will be able to pass these down to my daughter and her children too. Oh and shipping was exemplary. God Bless you.
