It was very easy to install and it stopped the oil leak. My engine is clean and I am not putting oil in every time I use the machine. Super easy to install.

Was advertised as natural rubber gasket. What arrived was standard cork gasket. It was a kohler brand gasket, but not the rubber gasket I was expecting. Worked well , I paid a little extra for a natural rubber gasket , received cork.

This is an OEM part and not a cheep knockoff. I'm not complaining about the material being cork or rubber, just stating my observation. Being the OEM part, it was a perfect fit. Buyers should check out Capt. Ferd's youtube video on replacing the Valve Cover gasket on a Kohler Courage 20 engine before installing the part or you will be buying another gasket sooner than later. I recommend this product rather than replacement gaskets sold on Amazon.

I added permatex 90 min gasket maker, as well as the product. Just to be safe. Has been holding up fine.

Perfect fit but I used liberal bead of Permatex "right stuff" around the lip of the valve cover to both hold the gasket in place and seal the fit. Installed... no leaks. Good to go. Discovered one of the push rods was backed on the Kohler 19 due to a loose nut after removing the valve cover gasket. Also ordered and replaced it. Engine is 10 years old and running strong.
