Used this with other Kohler products for a bath remodel. I love the hydrorail system, gives you both a rain shower head and a regular head. These are pricey but are made of solid materials. No plastic like other brands are using.

This is a perfect shower remodel of excellent quality. You only want to do this once because repairing the wall after installing an inferior shower column that must be replaced later is sad. This piece was designed for a remodel and couldn't be of better quality. It's worth the price. You can always replace shower heads or hand showers but this is for keeps. Some thoughts: You will need a 3/8 inch allen wrench to install the water pipe to the in-wall water connection. The upper part of the rail attaches to the wall around the water inlet by using some behind the wall anchors which require a half inch hole. If the drywall is not very close to the water pipe the current hole in the wall will leave you with little to no room to properly use the anchors. The current water pipe is mounted on a 2x4 behind the wall though and you should be prepared to use a long 2 1/2 - 3" stainless screw (x2) as a better mount instead of the included drywall anchors. The lower part of the rail connection requires that you drill a 1/2 inch hole through the tile. This can be daunting. Use a 1/2" hole saw, mark it very carefully, cover your tile with a couple layers of blue painter tape to help keep the bit from sliding around on the tile, go slow speed and don't hurry. The included wall anchors work very well on a tile wall. You need a level (or not) depending if that is important to you. Teflon tape. A small tube of clear silicone is needed to finish the installation. The whole thing is easy if you take your time and the result is awesome. Then you can go get your preferred shower head and hand shower. Hose not included BTW.

We're building a new house and I've been collecting plumbing fixtures online for months ahead. It's finally time to install, when I remove this from the package I realize it's bent. It looks like it came from the factory this way, it's not been used. When I click on return the item I get a message saying the return window has closed. I don't see a way to contact the seller directly, I'm hoping they will reach out to me.

The piece itself is well made. The hardest part of installing was drilling the 1/2" holes in our tile, but otherwise went smoothly. The connection piece meant to connect the hose to the unit leaks, we are hoping the replacement solves this problem.We did not receive the hose with this, I ordered a replacement from Amazon noting that the hose was missing, hopefully the replacement includes the hose. We comparison shopped for price on this exact model number and went with Amazon because the price was the same as elsewhere and we have prime, but if it doesn't include the hose then that means this was substantially more expensive than we realized.I will update the review once we receive the replacement, and have it fully installed.

I recently updated my main bathroom by installing the HydroRail. I coupled this with a Hansgrohe Raindance 12" rain shower head and hand shower combo. The construction of this piece is excellent and installation was straight forward. It completely changed my showering experience. I would highly recommend you try this out.
