This is heavy duty. There is nothing cheap about this torch. I was impressed with it from the start.

I bought this to kill weeds, because a weed whacker doesn't kill roots and the weeds just come back. Alas, while this torch can burn weeds down to the ground it also doesn't kill the roots, so the weeds come back albeit a bit more slowly than with a weed whacker.It's a lot of fun to use this (everybody is a bit pyromaniac), except you have to haul around a 30 pound propane tank.

So i like this torch head, the only downside is that there is not a way to lock it into burn mode so you have to hold the trigger down the entire time. However it works really well otherwise.

This Propane torch is very user friendly, safe and easy to manage. The handle with trigger is ergonomic and allows you to accurately pinpoint the area you wish to target. The ergonomic handle design also enhances comfort during extended use.Equipped with a push-button igniter and a dual adjustment system for flame control it is safe and easy to use. The electric ignition ensures reliable ignition, while the flow valve and turbo-blast trigger enable precise flame adjustment with one hand.Though it has a large nozzle, does not deliver a strong, consistent flame (see video) - but rather a weak, orange flame that is easily affected by wind. We tried opening both the gas (20lb tank) and the unit all the way and the flame was still weak and orange. Other propane torches similar to this one that Ive used provided a strong, blue (hotter) flame that burned weeds(even green ones) quickly. This one took several minutes just to burn a single leaf.The inclusion of a 9.8ft high-pressure multi-layer hose and a 1 LB propane adapter ensures compatibility with various propane sources, from small 1 lb cylinders to larger 5LB--40LB tanks. This flexibility allows users to choose the propane source that best suits their needs.Besides weed control, this torch proves to be a versatile tool for various outdoor tasks. From melting ice and snow to softening asphalt, clearing driveways, starting fires, and even grilling, its applications are diverse and practical for homeowners, gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.Even with its less-than spectacular performance, this torch is constructed with ultrahigh strength refractory steel and corrosion-resistant flame control valve, ensuring long-term durability and stability. Internal safety mechanisms effectively prevent leaks, providing peace of mind during operation.Overall, not the best and not the worst. It seems like a good quality tool, but we just couldnt get the flame adjusted to our expectations.
