This is a great cooking and BBQ pan. It's large enough to hold almost anything that you would like to cook. It's large flat aluminum base allows you to use it on any type of cooking surface including induction.Since it is so large and flat it makes good for searing and browning. The surface is easily cleaned and has been non-sticking on everything that we have cooked so far.My only concern with this is that the entire edge is very sharp and you can cut your hand on it so be careful. It would have been nice if they would have resurfaced it smoothly.Overall it performs well and I am happy with it.

This is a nice grill pan. First, the condition: the pan has no defects. It's well-formed. There are no sharp edges. The coating is uniform and intact-no thin spots, bubbles or scratches.Functionality: it's quite a nice size with a large flat area in the center with very gently sloping sides. It's not completely flat all the way across so be aware. The sides don't slope enough to be suitable for any stir-fry, It's not meant for that but I thought I'd mention it. It will be ideal for any type of grilled bread-ish item such as tortillas, pita or roti. It would also work for grilling a protein or even veg if you're cautious when stirring.The metal is quite thin and has no cladded layer on the bottom so it will conduct heat right where it contacts. This means over a flame or electric coil you will get hot spots. This can certainly work to your advantage but you have to be aware and know how to compensate. The sloped edges are slightly cooler so you can move food out to that area for less direct heat.On the grill this will work fine over the coals or indirect heat. We don't grill so I can't be more specific than that.It cleans nicely, at least is has for my use.We'll be using this for tortillas and roti quite often.
