At first sight and feel yes thin and light. Still it works great. I make burritos about 20 to 30 daily on the weekends. As soon as I got it my giant flower tortillas came out fast and perfectly heated. The corn ones too. I used it as a comal. Then decided to try Mexican quesadillas. Added some oil to the center to dip and lightly oil my quesadillas soooooo good. Two thumbs up from me. As far as the thin and light I read in the comments all I can say is good. Why??? Well as a cashier who still comes home and cooks I really don't want to wash a heavy pan after all that. This was easy and light so easy to wash. Love it!!!

The "Korean" Grill Pan was made in China and was far to thin to be practical. In addition, the pan was wrapped in a dirty cloth bag inside of a small beat up cardboard box.

It's lghtweight, easy to clean and wash as it is non-stick (only requires a light dish soap and hand wash, the residue comes off easily) and easy to store (doesn't require a lot of space). I've used it to grill chicken skewers and fish with banana leaves, they came out really well and delicious.
