Love the product.. the black tape is thicker and thus it's better to use for insertion inside the thumb slug.

I was having trouble with the fit of the thumb drill on my 13.5 pound "antique" bowling ball. I found that i have having to "grip" the ball too much and thought taping might help. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube prior to making this purchase so I knew I was buying the correct product for my particular issue.Pros:- This tape has a nice texture. Not too slippery and not too rough.- The width is appropriate for my petite thumb, giving me extra grip where i need it.- Pre-cut pieces are convenient- Adheres well to the drilled surface of the ball- Lasts multiple games without peeling (if using only one layer of tape in the hole)Cons:- Tape pieces are two long for my thumb hole and needed to be trimmed prior to application.- Tape doesn't layer well and peels back easily if stuck to itself. If you're planning to taper your tape application, beware of the rolling on the top layers of tape.Overall, this tape has helped me achieve what I wanted to do, but I was surprised when I couldn't effectively layer the tape if needed.

If you are looking for a solid textured tape for your thumb holes for bowling, this is it! Applies easily and performs like you'd expect. If you're going to bowling a lot or have a big arsenal, this is pretty great for your money.

Best tape I have come across so far! I use it for my thumb hole and also my finger plugs. It has strong adhesive and doesn't leave a sticky residue on the holes when you take them out. Great grip and stays on for long, although I recommend to change it every few games. A fresh tape is a good tape! Definitely recommend this tape for anyone looking to level up their game!:D

I use this bowling tape for my thumb hole bowling ball fit and smooth release coming out of it some times I add a dot of glue to keep it from rolling back not always tape stay put still is a good tape a lot better than others tape I have used.

Estaba acostumbrado a la cinta que parece de tela y tiene textura, esta es lisa como de nylon. Pense que iba a tener menos agarre, sin embargo no afecto al agarre siempre y cuando el ajuste del dedo sea bueno. Lo que mas me convence es que la liberacion es mucho mejor con esta cinta, hasta siento que incremento un poco las revoluciones, ya que el pulgar sale mas rapido. y al ser lisa no se ensucia inmediatamente, hasta creo que va a durar mas hasta que la tenga que cambiar.
