Open clamps by turning handle clockwise to snug against the bearing for pulling out evenly without damage the parts
Fully chromed carbon steel slide hammer, overall length 15" (382mm)
Do not over expand – the tool must be used for the inner pilots size as it is intended for.

Little stiff when trying to fit in the lower rated diameters of the fingers. Good overall.Use loctite on the threads of the handle of the slide hammer.

It does the job, but its hard to tighten up to engage the lips at the inside of the bearing. it also doesn't return to it's original shape once your done pulling the bearing. While that isn't so bad considering the price. It should pull a lot of bearings before needing replaced. I'd buy it again if necessary.

so hear is the situation, this tool set was supposed to be a good buy but there is a massive quality control.the treads on the slide hammer bar were not treaded correctly on one side and not at all on the other side.i was tempted to return this set but decided not to due to the fact that i have a tap and die set in my workshop.so i basically rethreaded the ends of the bar correctly, tightened everything down and voila it work like a dream.have been using it for the past few months now pulling medium to small bearings and bushings with no issues.all in all i can NOT recommend this set as it should work right out the box.also some would not have the time or tools to fix the issue as i did.

I was returning the puller tool until I learned from a machanic that to make pulling a stubburn bearing come out easier, that I needed to use a "can of AIR" ( turn the can upside down) and spray just to bearing to cool the bearing and swink it with the coolent before using the Puller. I saved $400 🤗

This would great for self defense if it were the closest thing to you. But as far as slide hammering goes, nah. It's almost just like a great slide hammer, except completely the opposite. The threads stripped out on about the 4th ping of the slide. Useless as teets on a boar hog now. 10/10 would take to scrap yard.
