A few reviews mention using on a Impreza, when I received them they seemed used ish but figured maybe just refurbished after installing them they were a lot smoother then the warn out Monroe's but a month into it started making noise from 3 off the corners and was noticably causing ride issues. My son was 500 miles from home soon had him take itt to a shop 3of 4 purchased were "leaking and toast" per shop. replacements wouldn't be in on time so had to drive 300 miles to pick up and return. Will probably just toss the 4th when gets home

Compatible fit for the 2011 Subaru Impreza. OEM struts worn out so bought these to replace. Great value for the price.

Bought for my boyfriend and he seemed quite satisfied. He haven't said anything about it and he's using it. Seems like it's a normal part.

Probably best suited to the base Impreza but not better than worn shocks on a WRX or STI. My struts and shocks were shot. leaking on the pistons and elsewhere and I wanted a decent replacement set since I might be trading the car sooner than later. Packaging was good and the shocks were pretty easy to install for a first timer with air tools and a QUALITY spring compressor.I notice less bounce than the blown set but I wouldn't call these performance rated as these don't seem firm enough for the performance side of things. I would have gone the Koni route, but the cost and modification necessary drove me away.*** I would NOT try these with aftermarket springs with a higher rate than the WRX comes with.
