Not ethanol gasoline proof. They didn't last a year before they leaked. I bought identical in appearance valves from Car Quest 20 years ago that still work.

After buying the Briggs and Stratton brand valves at places like Rural King and Tractor Supply for $8.99+ each, I decided to order these. I work on a lot of small engine stuff and these are perfect to add in a standard 1/4" ID fuel line on riding mowers and other equipment. These are just as sturdy as the B&S valves, and much cheaper. I've yet to have one leak or fail.
