Works great on 2003 CRV, no need to disconnect axels and the shaft.Just lower the rear diff enough, get the 2 bolts on top, and take the mounting bracket off.The job takes about 2 hours, not bad at all.Car runs very quite now!

Pressing out the old bushings from the top mount is a pain. It involved hammers, chisels, a drill and a lot of pounding. New bushings seemed much like the factory ones, hopefully they last another 20 years.

This is a great price as it includes the rear rubber mount , top plates and bushings. However it doesn’t include the bottom plate washers. But they are available from Honda at a bargain price of $13 Cdn. There is one small issue though. The rear rubber mount has a larger bolt hole than the original. If you purchase a duplicate of the front two bolts and file out the back bracket hole to suit it works.I would suggest purchasing replacement bolts and nuts for the back bracket ( 3 ) and the two that attach the bushing assembly to the chassis. After 18 years mine were pretty seized up but did all come out with a good dose of penetrating oil.A bit of advice on the bushing replacement. Drill the old bushing out with a 2 1/8” hole saw ideally on a drill press. The rubber centre will then just drop out. With a chisel you don’t love hit the edge of the bushing forcing inward , once you have a bit of space use the chisel to make a V cut into it until the bushing collapses into the centre and falls out.Add a little grease before placing the new bushing unto the hole. Make yourself two blocks with 1” holes in them , one to place under and another one on top. Ideally the top one out of something strong , 3/4 “ Baltic birch if you have it. With one block under place the other on top on a solid surface , concrete floor give it a good sharp blow. Took 5 whacks with a 5lb sledge. Once it’s all the way in you’re done.PS those bolts for the rear rubber mount ended up being $11 Cdn so try to save them Also for some strange reason the nuts do not appear on the Honda parts diagram , so you can’t get them. 12 mm fine thread. Luckily these are common, wheel lugs, strut bolts, ball joint castle nuts so I just used some left over ones, good luck V.
