Bought to make a buffing station with pillow blocks and motor/pulleys. Rod was straight and well packed and worked very well for my buffing machine. Recommend if you need a straight threaded rod.

Threads were in good shape for what I expected. I use them for gun wagon axles and around the machine shop for making special tools, etc.

I've used several different black oxide steel materials in the past, but these rods aren't nearly as black as the picture or other products I've used. Definitely darker than the typical steel you find at Home Depot or Lowe's, but not as black as pictured.I would purchase from this company again. Wish they sold black oxide 3/4" nuts for a good price as well!
