I keep backup cisterns of water (I live in an area with low wells and lowering water tables) so that my animals always have access to clean water and I have a backup in case of a small fire emergency. This little pump blows the doors off of the one I've had from a large, well known retailer in pretty much every capacity. It's got better hp, better gpm, can draw from a deeper distance, you name it, it's better, and it cost me half as much. It's easy to set up, it's easy to prime, and it's easy to use. I can transfer 100 gallons in a matter of minutes, and I don't have to worry about overworking my well's pressure system - I can set it up and go water the animals, wash out the back of my truck, even clean my AC unit with a good stiff spray of water.

I actually got two of these pumps because they were such a good deal. One runs my irrigation system that takes 60 gallons a minute. Simple pressure switch to turn it on and a pressure tank to handle fluctuations.

I recently used the 1.2HP Shallow Well Pump for my neighbor's pool and I am quite pleased with its performance. Priced at around $130, this portable garden irrigation pump offers impressive portability and the ability to pump water fast, making it a valuable addition to my toolkit. The pump's powerful 1.2HP motor delivers water up to 140ft with a max suction depth of 26ft and a maximum flow rate of 1068 gallons per hour, making quick work of large draining jobs. One thing to note is that it needs priming before use to prevent damage to the seals and impeller. The built-in handle makes it easy to transport and use in various environments like lawns, gardens, farms, and rain barrels. The pump is also designed with durability in mind, featuring a high-strength stainless steel pump head and aluminum body for corrosion resistance. The waterproof on/off switch and low noise level enhance its ease of use. Additionally, the built-in automatic thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating. Overall, this pump offers reliable performance for a range of applications, from pressure boosting to irrigation. The 12-month warranty and 24/7 customer support add extra peace of mind.An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

This pump is probably bigger than I need to transfer water from rain barrels through my sprinkler system but with 4 large sprinkler heads, it gets enough pressure relief, but barely Running even for a few minutes ensures everything gets a good soaking but it empties those barrels pretty fast. There are very few accessories included so be prepared to read the description and purchase anything else you might need including hoses, clamps, etc. It does come with a pressure gauge that you need to fit yourself but there's no pressure cut-off switch so you'll need to supervise. Overall though, it does the job I ordered it for.

The listing needs to mention that this pump is missing a pressure switch. There are very few applications where you don't need a pump to automatically shut off when it reaches max pressure. It also had a small irregularity in the threads where the pressure gauge screws in that resulted in a significant leak the first time I inserted the gauge. Unscrewing it and adding extra teflon tape and pipe dope was successful in fixing the leak though. Ultimately I had to remove the gauge altogether in order to retrofit the pump with a pressure switch. The tap for the gauge is the same size that you need for a traditional pressure switch, so it's an easy retrofit, but then you have to install the gauge elsewhere in the line (if you need it).
